Hunstanton coast in Norfolk

Strong winds and large waves tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from 03:15 to 07:15 on Thursday 8th October. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers or on the coast, with spray being seen on the seafront paths. Flood gates in the area will be closed by the Local Authority which will make access difficult. Please take notice of the Flood Sign at the top of South Beach Road. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at King's Lynn of 3.42mAODN

Tide locking, where high tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to sea, tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible Flooding is possible from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Thursday 08 October.  We expect to see high water levels at Beccles Quay. Levels can take several hours to peak.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.   This message will be updated by 5:00PM on Thursday 08 October or as the situation
